During the consultation, clients can also obtain information on medication or have an e-prescription issued to them abroad.

Holders of premium VISA cards in the Czech Republic and Slovakia can now use the MEDDI telemedicine solution to address their health issues with a doctor 24/7, wherever they are. The service guarantees a secure connection with a doctor within 30 minutes of sending an enquiry. It is possible to consult with a doctor about an immediate medical condition, including symptoms and possible causes, as well as to have diagnoses and medical procedures clarified, medical terms explained or laboratory results interpreted. During the consultation, clients can also obtain information on medication or have an e-prescription issued, which can be sent abroad.

Our solution
Using the MEDDI solution was a great opportunity for Veolia to try out a modern, innovative and functional tool in the form of a telemedicine app, a doctor on the phone, and to monitor how employee sickness absence changes over time. After the first year of using the MEDDI app, the real savings calculated for a company with 1,000 employees, at a salary cost of 53,000 per month per employee, was a total of 2.9 million crowns, up to 24% of the annual employee compensation costs.
